BERMS

Berms are an essential item for any facility or site which is storing or transferring liquids. Not having proper spill containment can get you fined up to $95,000 a day. There are a variety of berms available, depending on your application. Some examples are foam wall or L bracket for portable berms and foam or PVC for stationary berms built into a facility. Through regulation 40 CRF 264.175, any berm you choose will have to hold a minimum of 10% of the volume you have contained.
